Philosophy Honours at National University is a four-year program that examines Western and Eastern philosophical traditions, ethics, logic, aesthetics, political philosophy, and philosophy of mind. Students study ancient and modern Western philosophers, Muslim and Indian philosophy, Marxist thought, and the philosophy of the Bangalees. The curriculum develops critical thinking, argumentation, and analytical writing. GPA and CGPA follow the official NU grading system, where each letter grade corresponds to a specific grade point used to compute semester and cumulative averages. The program carries 120 total credits including a viva-voce paper.
